So... I finally got around to setting up this blog.
I'm a software engineer who spends way too much time going down technical rabbit holes. You know that feeling when you start reading about something at 10pm and suddenly it's 4am and you're deep into the documentation? Yeah, that's basically my life.
I run CraftersMC, a Minecraft server where I handle anything code related from server codes with Java to all the Kubernetes stuff. Still haven't gotten around to setting up proper CI/CD, but hey, manual deployments build character, right?
Most of my free time goes into building things that probably shouldn't exist. Like Wiesel, my Vulkan game engine that's missing half the features a real engine needs, but man, writing your own renderer is addictive. Or znet, a C++ networking library for games because apparently I hate myself enough to deal with socket programming for fun. TCP only for now, but reliable UDP is coming... eventually.
I also contribute to some open-source projects, mainly WaterdogPE and CloudburstMC Protocol. Oh, and GlistEngine when I have time.
Honestly? Whatever I'm obsessing over that week. Could be:
My approach to tech is basically: jump in first, figure it out as I go. No planning, no prep, just pure YOLO energy. Works surprisingly well. Until it doesn't. Then it makes a good story.
Coffee is life. Music is always on (yes, sometimes even when sleeping, don't judge). I think C++ is way more fun than Java, even though I write both daily. Java pays the bills but C++ has my heart.
Based in Istanbul, usually found with multiple terminal windows open and wondering why my code worked on the first try (that's when you REALLY need to worry).
If you're into any of this stuff, cool. If not, maybe stick around anyway, I promise some of my failures are pretty entertaining.
